Redwood freshman lands lead teen role in new Amazon family drama

When Liv Lindell arrived back in town the day before her freshman year of high school, she fielded questions from classmates about her summer in Atlanta.

 

“I spent time with family, and I learned how to wrestle for fun,” she recalls telling them.

 

Both are true, but perhaps not in the way one might expect.

 

The 15-year-old Tiburon resident spent her summer learning to wrestle for her role as Casey in “It’s Not Like That,” a drama series releasing Jan. 25 on the Wonder Project, a subscription-based add-on to Amazon Prime Video.
