Sports Shout: Local polo players lead teams to medal finishes at national Junior Olympics

The Tiburon Peninsula Central Marin Sharks Water Polo Club earned three medals at the 2025 USA Water Polo Junior Olympics in Orange County, with local athletes helping secure silver and bronze finishes across multiple age divisions.

 

The club’s 12U coed team earned bronze in the top-level Championship Platinum division, the 10U coed team captured silver in the Championship Gold division and the 14U boys team claimed silver in the Classic Gold division.

 

The tournament, held July 19-27, is considered the largest age-group water polo tournament in the nation.
