Survey: Belvedere residents plan to age in place, value local walkability
A Belvedere survey aimed at assessing the needs of local seniors shows respondents overwhelmingly plan to age in place, are comfortable accessing wellness programs and highly value the city’s walkability as a way to stay fit.
The 20-question survey, targeted to residents ages 60 and older but open to all, was posted on the city’s website in May and closed June 12.
The city plans to use the responses to develop a strategic action plan, due this September, that will address the topics outlined in the survey and align with the city’s “age-friendly” status.
