Tiburon names new community development head

A former registered nurse who became a city planner is now leading Tiburon’s planning and building divisions, bringing experience in housing policy, climate planning and wildfire recovery to a position that’s been vacant since June.

 

Shari Meads stepped into the role of community development director at Town Hall Dec. 8, taking over for Dina Tasini, who left for the same position in the East Bay city of Albany.

 

Meads, who has moved to Tiburon, said she is eager to get to know residents and understand the community’s priorities.

 

“I’m very excited to listen to the community, learn about the desires of the community and help make that happen,” she said.
