Tiburon OKs $154,000 for infrastructure upgrades

Tiburon will spend $154,000 to renovate three workforce-housing condos and make improvements at the police station, including expanded electric-vehicle charging capacity.

The Town Council voted 4-0 Dec. 3, with Councilmember Jack Ryan absent, to approve the additional fiscal 2025-2026 spending.

Nearly half of the budget amendment, $75,000, will go toward renovating town-owned condominiums at the Point Tiburon Marsh complex. The remaining $79,000 will go toward the police station. The building needs $54,000 in electrical upgrades to charge a fourth electric vehicle after the town replaces one of the department’s existing gas vehicles.
