The winning snapshots in this year’s Belvedere Community Foundation photo contest captured everyday life on the peninsula, from birds floating over San Francisco Bay to a supermoon suspended between two trees to a quiet walk along a flower-lined path.

The standout images were selected from about 100 entries, with first-place prizes awarded in six categories: architecture, black and white, landscapes, people, sunrise/sunset and wildlife. A seventh category for photographers ages 5-18 drew no entries.

Winners Joyce Bell-Albert, Eileen Bowen, Alice Lando, Joanne Norman, Mary Kathryn Rice and Feisal Siddiqi of Tiburon were honored Nov. 20 at the community foundation’s annual meeting at Belvedere City Hall.
