Tiburon Peninsula rolling out holiday fairs, performances and charity drives

Holiday festivities on the Tiburon Peninsula throughout November and December will feature a potpourri of events, from musical performances and DJ sets to photos with Santa Claus and gingerbread-house decorating, as well as opportunities to support local charities.

The Tiburon Peninsula Chamber of Commerce’s annual holiday festival anchors the events, scheduled for 2-5 p.m. Dec. 6. Lower Main Street will be closed to traffic from noon to 6 p.m. that day.

The chamber event is one of several that’ll pepper the peninsula that weekend. Also scheduled are concerts from SingersMarin and the Marin Men’s Chorus, the Belvedere-Tiburon Landmarks Society’s annual craft fair and the annual One Day of Giving event.

Chamber Executive Director Melanie Haddad said the holiday season shows “how beautiful downtown looks” with lights and the warm and festive nature it takes on.
