Immerse in healing waters of Sonoma

The past few months have been punctuated with setbacks and memorials for close friends and culminated with the painful loss of our Maggie, a small Havanese-poodle mix. MARYBETH BOND-SHEPPARDA trip to the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn and Spa helped wash away some of my recent troubles.

The past few months have been punctuated with setbacks and memorials for close friends and culminated with the painful loss of our Maggie, a small Havanese-poodle mix. She was a cherished member of our family for 15 years.

After Maggie died, the weight of grief settled over me and my husband, Gary, like a heavy blanket. We each grappled with the emptiness left behind by Maggie’s absence. Gary encouraged me to take a break and travel somewhere; travel always boosts my spirits. My daughter Annalyse and I took this time to visit the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn and Spa.
