Wine festival set to return to downtown Tiburon on Oct. 2

Fifty established and small-production wineries will return to Point Tiburon Plaza Oct. 2 for the 38th annual Tiburon Wine Festival.

The event, which runs 1-4 p.m., offers attendees a chance to meet the winemakers, taste their products and sample appetizers and gourmet bites from 10 local restaurants and food purveyors.

The outdoor festival, sponsored by the Tiburon Peninsula Chamber of Commerce, was canceled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and was pushed this year from its typical spring date to October.

Participating wineries include Mumm Napa, Field Vineyards out of Cotati, Sosie Wines and Anaba.
