Tiburon Peninsula abuzz with news of restaurant from star chef Michael Mina


Confirmation that Michelin-starred celebrity chef Michael Mina will take over the waterfront restaurant space recently vacated by Guaymas has set Tiburon and much of the Bay Area abuzz with anticipation — even though no concept is publicly known and the opening date isn’t expected until late summer 2019. Mina’s restaurant development team, which includes at least one representative of landlord A&C Ventures of Sonoma, has already begun discussions with town planning officials about exterior and interior improvements they’d like to make, although at press time, no applications for design review or building permits had been filed at Tiburon Town Hall.
