First public hearing on Mina restaurant plans set for Nov. 14


Michelin-starred celebrity chef Michael Mina’s restaurant group is about to face its first big test in Tiburon, as plans for its waterfront space at Tiburon Boulevard and Main Street — which include a 2 a.m. closing time, outdoor music and valet parking — go up for a public hearing in two weeks. At 7:30 p.m. Nov. 14 at Tiburon Town Hall, the Tiburon Planning Commission is slated to consider a conditional use permit application by the landlord, A&C Ventures, for a full-service restaurant, bar and lounge at 5 Main St., most recently occupied by Guaymas Mexican restaurant.
