Belvedere homes in on flood-fix plan
Belvedere is moving forward with a raft of flood fixes — including raising flood barriers on San Rafael Avenue and Beach Road — that could cost up to $26 million. The Belvedere City Council at its June 10 meeting unanimously accepted flood-protection and seismic-upgrade recommendations that include beefing up and connecting existing barriers on West Shore Road and working with Tiburon to install a protective barrier along Main Street.
