Tiburon Peninsula Chamber of Commerce eyes new downtown visitor center


The Tiburon Peninsula Chamber of Commerce wants to open a visitor center and retail space in a prominent downtown Tiburon location in what it says is an effort to promote the area’s businesses, historical landmarks and local events. The chamber has reached a tentative agreement to open the center at 1704 Tiburon Blvd., right on Fountain Plaza, in a space that has sat empty for more than six years. (Kevin Hessel photo / The Ark)
