Belvedere-Tiburon Library’s first, only director announces retirement

Belvedere-Tiburon Library Director Debbie Mazzolini, who was hired in 1996 to oversee the development and construction of the original library and has steered the library through the major expansion now underway, plans to retire in the fall. Mazzolini said she will step down after the $17.8-million project wraps up, giving the Belvedere-Tiburon Library Agency board of directors time to recruit and hire her replacement.
