Tiburon commission ponders light installation, dance film as upcoming public-art offerings

A light-based installation and a film screening focused on women in dance are two possible public-art projects being explored by the Tiburon Heritage and Arts Commission.

 

The commission at its March 26 meeting noted it has been in preliminary talks with British artist Bruce Munro about a public-art installation and Sausalito-based dance company Danse Lumière about a showcase of the film “Women at the Top,” which was produced by company Artistic Director Kathryn Roszak and explores women in leadership positions in ballet and contemporary dance.
