Tiburon father and son pickleballers medal at Texas tournament







Tiburon resident Michael Moon took home gold and silver medals at the USA Pickleball National Championships, while his son Nico Moon earned bronze in mixed doubles.


Moon, 51, won the top prize in the men’s singles 4.0 skill group for competitors aged 50-54 at the tournament, held Nov. 5-12 in the Dallas suburb of Farmers Branch, Texas, and earned a silver medal in the mixed doubles’ 3.5 skill tournament for those aged 50-54.


Nico, 14 and a freshman at The Branson School, won bronze in the mixed doubles competition for those ages 8-14.
