Tiburon resident’s children’s book for adults satirizes Trump administration


Tiburon resident Bryan Porcher had long wanted to write a short story, and he decided to center it on the local marine life he was now seeing on a regular basis as a stand-up paddle-boarder on Richardson Bay. But every story needs a good villain, Porcher notes, and the longer he thought, the more an antagonist started to take shape — a turkey vulture who rules the town and calls himself the Tiburon Don.
