Library and rec agency partner to host resource fair for seniors

Tiburon Peninsula seniors can try Pilates and Zumba, get emergency-preparedness tips and learn more about volunteer opportunities and age-friendly services at a free April 26 resource fair at the Belvedere-Tiburon Library.

The library is partnering with Belvedere-Tiburon Recreation to host “Senior Expo 2024: Resources to Enrich Your Life on the Peninsula,” which runs 10 a.m.-2 p.m. The event is sponsored by the Belvedere Community Foundation, which donated $5,500.

“Hosting the Senior Expo reinforces (the library’s) commitment to serving diverse age groups, fostering community partnerships and addressing the unique needs of older adults,” said Milos Petrovic, the library’s programming librarian.
