California’s super bloom a spectacular sight


For many years, I have dreamed of going to the desert to experience a super bloom. This is the year! After reading about the hordes of people trampling the flowers in Southern California, we chose to go to a more remote area that may not attract so many people and made the five-hour drive to Taft, near the southern entrance of the Carrizo Plain National Monument.
