Belvedere-Tiburon Library to ask town to split $2.6 mil cost for shared improvements


The Belvedere-Tiburon Library Agency will ask Tiburon to split the multimillion-dollar cost of several improvements that are part of the library’s planned expansion, including work to a shared parking lot, public plaza spaces and Zelinsky Park. The total cost of that work is estimated at $2.6 million, so the town’s share would be $1.3 million, but the final costs won’t be known until the expansion project is put out for bid and a contractor is selected.
