Tiburon teen takes on leadership role as Tam district student trustee


Lauren Steele didn’t know much about the Tamalpais Union High School District board of trustees when she decided to run for a seat as Redwood High School’s student representative on the board. However, after she found out the district was going to spend the 2018-2019 school year battling a multimillion-dollar deficit that would require budget cuts, she knew she wanted to be involved.
