Martha Co. enters talks about preserving Tiburon Ridge land


The Martha Co. has agreed to a formal appraisal of its undeveloped 110-acre property on the southern Tiburon Ridge, clearing one of the big hurdles to the Tiburon Open Space group acquiring and preserving the land, known as Easton Point. “It’s a giant step,” said real-estate broker Bill Bullock of Sotheby’s Golden Gate International, which has the listing for the property sale. Bullock, speaking for the Martha Co., said the property owners have entered into “meaningful discussion” with the Trust for Public Land, a San Francisco nonprofit that helps communities preserve open space.
