Tiburon resident Vicki Sodaro has spent three decades fostering youth sports on the Tiburon Peninsula.

Sodaro is currently a board member for the Tiburon Peninsula Soccer Club — one of several positions she’s held over the last 30 years for the group, including serving as a coach and team manager, field coordinator, referee assignor and game scheduler.

She’s also served as a softball, baseball and soccer coach, team parent or manager and has umpired and refereed for local sports leagues as well.

“Vicki is always willing to take on any job we ask her to do,” says Kim Stibich, the executive director of the soccer league, which offers recreational and competitive programs for more than 500 youth. “She is selfless and humble about her contribution to this community.”
