High school, fire taxes OK’d, incumbents keep their seats


Residents of the Tamalpais Union High School District have agreed to pay some extra cash to help the district dig itself out of a deep financial hole. Some 72 percent of district voters in the Nov. 6 election cast their ballots in favor of Measure J, a four-year, $149 parcel tax expected to net the district an additional $5.1 million in annual revenue.
