Belvedere report seeks ways to lessen impacts from construction

A citizen committee tasked with examining construction impacts in Belvedere has come up with several suggestions to ease the effects of the work on residents, including modifying staging and parking policies to include potential work stoppages and fines and expanding permitted construction hours by an hour each in the morning and evening.

It’s expected to present the report to the City Council at the council’s Aug. 8 meeting. The council has final say in deciding whether to implement any of the suggested strategies.
