Late-night ferries will be making waves between Tiburon and San Francisco starting next week.

Tickets are currently on sale for the on-demand runs, operated by Tiburon-based Tideline Marine Group, which begin Feb. 17. The water taxi will run between Pier 1½ in San Francisco — which is just north of the San Francisco Ferry Building — and the Tiburon Ferry Landing on Thursdays and Fridays. On Saturdays, it will operate between Tiburon and the Hyde Street Pier at Fisherman’s Wharf.

Though Tideline previously suggested the ferry service would operate on Sundays, the current schedule does not extend to the additional day, with representatives for the company saying it will evaluate ridership before it decides whether to expand.
