More than 60 works of art created by Reed Union School District students will be on display at Ground home goods and garden store as part of the district’s May 15 Spring Art Night, which will also feature music, food and hands-on crafting for kids.

The free event, set for 4:30-6:30 p.m. at the 1520 Tiburon Blvd. storefront, will exhibit art created by the district’s pre-K through eighth grade students throughout the school year, and the works will remain on display at Ground through June 4, says Abby O’Leary, the district’s visual and performing arts teacher-on-assignment and organizer of the show.

The May 15 show will also feature performances by the Bel Aire Elementary School chorus and the Del Mar Middle School rock band at 5 p.m. and 5:45 p.m., respectively, as well as a craft activity led by muralist Laura Palmer from 5 to 6:30 p.m. A photo booth with arts-related props will be available.
