Mina files remodel plans for former Guaymas space; concept, cuisine details still secret


A billiards room and “audiophile” room are among the few hints about what Michelin-starred celebrity chef Michael Mina has in store for the former Guaymas restaurant space in downtown Tiburon, revealed late last week when plans accompanying the first land-use permit applications were filed at Tiburon Town Hall. But anyone hoping for a quick answer about the cuisine or concept for the space will have to keep waiting, as Jamie Law, spokeswoman for Mina’s restaurant team, the Mina Group, said the company likely would not reveal those details until next year.
