Tiburon teen falls just short in Orange Bowl tennis tournament

Tiburon teen India Houghton made it to the finals of the girls 16s singles division of the Orange Bowl International Tennis Championships, entering unseeded but taking second place in a three-hour, down-to-the-wire battle at the oldest and largest junior tennis tournament in the world. The 16-year-old had to win five contests to advance to the finals match, where she took the first set and forced a tiebreaker in the third before eventually succumbing to No. 4-seeded Madison Sieg of Connecticut, 6-2, 4-6, 5-7.
