Pandemic stalls planned opening for new home-goods store in ex-Bayside spot in Belvedere


A new home-and-garden store set to open on Tiburon Boulevard next month is now in a holding pattern because of the coronavirus pandemic. Ground, which will sell plants and home goods, was originally set to open mid-May in the former Bayside Garden Center, located at 1520 Tiburon Blvd. But because it isn’t deemed an essential business under Marin’s shelter-in-place order, which is in place through at least May 3 and likely longer, the owners say they will have to stall their grand opening and “just play it by ear.”
