Dr. Jerome Marvin Weiss

Dr. Jerome Marvin Weiss, a distinguished urologist and compassionate healer, passed away at the age of 89, in Napa, California, on April 4th. Known for his dedication to medicine and his patients, Dr. Weiss practiced for over six decades, specializing in urology and earning the respect and gratitude of countless individuals whose lives he touched.

 

Dr. Weiss graduated from Tufts Medical School in 1960 and went on to build a remarkable career. In 1995, he established the Pacific Center for Pelvic Pain. The practice was his passion and known for its innovative and holistic approach to ad-dressing unresolved pelvic pain and organ dysfunction, combining Western and Eastern medical traditions. He was able to help those who no one else had been able to heal. Patients praised his empathetic nature, describing him as a doctor who truly listened and cared.

 

Jerry and his late wife Ingrid were cherished members of the Belvedere/Tiburon community. He was known for his dry wit, kindness, wisdom, intelligence, passion, and unwavering commitment to improving the lives of those around him. His legacy is one of compassion, excellence, and a life dedicated to the well-being of others.

 

Dr. Weiss is survived by his family: his son, John Weiss; his daughter, Karen Wilde; and grandchildren Nathalie, Whitney and Melanie Weiss, and Nick and Sam Wilde. He was preceded in death by his son Doug and his wife, Ingrid. He will be lovingly remembered by his family, surviving friends and the many patients whose lives he enriched.
