Charlie Harrington (335) of Belvedere and Jordan Warren (256) of Tiburon, along with Romney Resney (207) of Belvedere, take part in the Run Tiburon 5K & 10K on Sept. 10. Harrington, Belvedere’s newest Parks, Open Spaces and Lanes Committee member, finished seventh overall in the 10K and is hoping to bring back his own run of the city’s walking lanes for a second year. The annual Run Tiburon 5K & 10K drew some 780 runners to downtown Tiburon on Sept. 11, with Belvedere residents Marshall Boyd, Ryan Jorgenson and Charlie Harrington among the top-10 overall finishers in the 10K.

Boyd’s 39-minute, 54-second jaunt was enough for fourth overall and first among the men’s 40-49 age group. Jorgensen was fifth overall and second in the same division with his 41:24 run.

Harrington took seventh overall with his 42:08 run, finishing second among men ages 30-39.

In the 5K, peninsula resident Arvand Sabetian finished seventh overall, in 20:42, which was also good for first among men ages 30-39, while Robert Wong finished 10th, in 21:25, earning first among men ages 60-69.
