Marin artists pay tribute to the spirit of America in ‘We the People’

Eight local artists are featured in “We the People,” a Tiburon Town Hall exhibition designed to celebrate the 250th anniversary of U.S. independence.

The exhibit, sponsored by the Heritage & Arts Commission, runs through Aug. 31 in Town Hall’s downstairs gallery. The commission put out an open call earlier this summer inviting peninsula residents of all ages to submit works across all mediums that “explore historical events, cultural traditions, landscapes, everyday life, national symbols or personal narratives that speak to the spirit of America.”
