The latest art exhibit at Tiburon Town Hall features pieces created by participants of Tiburon Together, a weekly meetup hosted by Chabad of Tiburon for those living with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease.

“The World is a Garden” will be on view in the downstairs lobby and council chambers Aug. 5-28, with an artists’ reception set for 6-8 p.m. Aug. 19. It includes 30 pieces created by three senior group participants, along with works by their caregivers, Tiburon Together program coordinator Judy Dick of Tiburon and the group’s art teacher, Jackie Datnow. The participants’ names are being kept anonymous for the show, hosted by the Heritage and Arts Commission, at the request of their families.

Tiburon Together was founded in May 2024 by Chabad of Tiburon co-directors Rabbi Levi Mintz and his wife, Mirel. The group meets each Wednesday at Chabad of Tiburon’s community center at 1640 Tiburon Blvd. One of the activities offered is an afternoon of painting and chair yoga led by Dick, who says her mother had dementia.
