Town Hall hosts wildlife photography and Cedars art exhibitions

A Novato resident’s photographs of wide-eyed owls, bobcats scratching an itch, birds throwing their necks back in a mating dance and other creatures will be on display in the upstairs Community Room of Town Hall starting Aug. 28, while two clients of nonprofit Cedars of Marin will exhibit their art in the downstairs lobby and council chambers of the building starting Sept. 3.

 

“Curating Color: Wildlife Photography from Marin and Beyond” by Susan B. Katz is set to run through Oct. 31, with an artist’s reception planned for 6-8 p.m. Sept. 19.

 

Meanwhile, “Cedars in Town” will showcase the art of P. J. Randolph and Reed Fesh­bach of Cedars of Marin, which offers support and services to adults with developmental disabilities. That show runs through Oct. 30, with an artists’ reception set for 6-8 p.m. Sept. 9.
