Peninsula turnout rises to 52 percent in final vote count


A final tally of Marin’s votes in the June 2018 statewide primary race shows voter turnout on the Tiburon Peninsula at 52 percent, while outcomes from state, regional and local races remained unchanged from preliminary results. The peninsula’s voter turnout was slightly lower than the 55.9 percent turnout from all Marin voters in the June 5 election. Though final vote tallies are not in for every county, Marin currently has the ninth highest voter turnout among the 58 counties across the state, according to the California Secretary of State.
