Tiburon man allegedly broke into neighbor’s home, damaging property

A Tiburon man was arrested on suspicion of burglary and vandalism last week after allegedly breaking into a neighbor’s home and smashing property inside. The 26-year-old was being held in Marin County Jail on $50,000 bail after being arrested June 27. Because the man was reportedly having a mental-health crisis, The Ark is withholding his name unless the District Attorney’s Office decides to file formal criminal charges. A felony arraignment was tentatively scheduled for July 3 in Marin County Superior Court, though further details were unavailable at The Ark’s press time.
