Tiburon again delays library contribution as it reviews draft $12.6-million budget


Tiburon will spend money in fiscal 2019-2020 to raise police salaries, repair the town’s storm-drain system and continue the Yellow Bus Challenge — but the town’s budget doesn’t yet include a potential $1.1-million contribution to the Belvedere-Tiburon Library expansion. The Town Council at its June 5 meeting reviewed the draft $12.6-million operating budget, which shows $12.74 million in revenue for a surplus of about $127,400.
