Emergency project to repair Belvedere seawall is delayed again

Belvedere is again facing delays in an emergency project meant to shore up a portion of its Beach Road seawall that is in danger of collapse. The city has been unable to get the materials needed to put in a new sheet-pile foundation across a section of about 120 feet of the seawall, which the City Council in October declared was in a state of emergency after officials discovered it had been cracking and shifting toward the bay.
