Fencing to go up today as Belvedere-Tiburon Library expansion construction begins

Construction to expand the Belvedere-Tiburon Library is underway, with the crew from Alten Construction set to erect fencing around the perimeter of the work area starting today, Nov. 6, in preparation for the first phase of work, which will involve adding on to the library and building a new civic plaza between the library and Tiburon Town Hall. The safety fencing will cut off access to the current parking lot between the library and Town Hall, though the handicapped-accessible spaces near the ramp in front of Town Hall will remain.
