Cholita Linda plans Strawberry opening for early next year

Cholita Linda, a Bay Area restaurant chain known for pan-Latin street food, will open its newest location in Strawberry Village in early 2026.

 

The restaurant specializes in fish tacos, Cubano sandwiches and aguas frescas. Co-founder Murat Sozeri confirmed the opening time frame following initial reports in March of plans to fill a vacant 2,192-square-foot storefront across from SkinSpirit and Bella Boutique.

 

The Strawberry Village location will be the restaurant’s first in Marin. Cholita Linda currently operates five locations: Oakland’s Temescal neighborhood, Alameda, Berkeley, Walnut Creek and San Francisco’s Ferry Building.
