Hunter Cristo and Liat Holden are sharing lunch behind Rustic Bakery on Aug. 6, soon after the two 17-year-olds met randomly in the Strawberry Village Safeway.

“She was super bold,” Hunter says. “She just came up to me in the grocery store.”

Liat says she noticed Hunter’s “Program X Lacrosse” T-shirt.

“I thought he looked familiar,” she says. “And I wanted to know where he got his shirt.”

The two found themselves talking for so long they decided to grab lunch together, heading over to The Boardwalk shopping center to eat their salad and sushi behind Rustic Bakery.
