Local agency overseeing school-bus program approves $976,000 budget

The joint-powers agency that oversees school-bus service is projecting a $178,000 surplus in its fiscal 2025-2026 budget as it plans to expand service to St. Hilary Catholic School and pilot a new route to bring Reed Union School District students home from after-school programs and tutoring sessions.

 

The Tiburon Peninsula Traffic Alliance board of directors voted 5-0 at its June 10 meeting to approve the fiscal 2026 budget, which projects expenditures of $976,362 against revenue of $1.15 million. The new fiscal year begins July 1.
