Sam Cook and William Caamal watch the tourists, cyclists and locals who pass through Point Tiburon Plaza daily from their mobile coffee trailer, Paradise Coffee.

The one thing the plaza was missing, Cook says, was a quick place to grab a bite to eat.

“I know that everybody has busy days, whether you’re strolling in Tiburon, enjoying the view or having to get back to work because you only have 30 minutes of lunch break,” Cook says.

Paradise Coffee is intended to fill that gap, he says, providing “something that you can just grab and go within 5 minutes, less than 5 minutes, get back to wherever you need to go and enjoy your day.”

Cook, Caamal and Caamal’s brother, Juan Carlos, opened the business in late April; the trailer sits at the plaza near the bus stop and flower-shop gazebo at 1775 Tiburon Blvd. It serves a variety of beverages, including coffee blends from Fabrice Moschetti of Vallejo-based Moschetti Artisan Roaster and Italian sodas. Food offerings include chicken cordon bleu and Cubano sandwiches, breakfast burritos and waffles.
