Peninsula residents lead the way in Run Tiburon 10K & 5K

Brad Geddes, 40, of Tiburon won the Run Tiburon 10K outright on Aug. 30, and local runners took four of the six podium spots among women in the 10K and 5K.

 

Geddes ran the 10K in 39 minutes, 46 seconds to finish first among 319 entrants and win the male 40-49 age group. He was ninth overall in the same race last year.

 

Kate Greer, 41, of Belvedere was the first woman across in the 10K, taking eighth overall in 40:51 and winning the female 40-49 division.
