Cinelounge Tiburon will host the short-film festival “Our Heroes Bleed Glitter: Modern Queer Films for Today’s Zeitgeist” at 6 p.m. Feb. 7. Curated by filmmakers Daniel Talbott, Andrew Klaus-Vineyard and Felix Mack, it includes 10 films showcasing modern queercore aesthetics: low-budget, emotional and celebrating more personal aspects of the LGBTQ+ community. Topics range from navigating dating apps to the power dynamic between students and teachers, emotionally fraught relationships, romance, heartbreak and an octogenarian scholar adding herself to classic art. Tickets are $19.99. cineloungefilm.com.

The fourth annual Belvedere Challenge fun run starts from San Rafael Avenue and West Shore Road at 10 a.m. Feb. 7.
