Resident with a career in product marketing joins Tiburon fire board

A Tiburon resident with a background in technology and product marketing has joined the Tiburon Fire Protection District board of directors.

Joy Ho was appointed to the interim seat by a 3-0 vote of the board at its May 8 meeting; member Robert Miller was absent. She’ll be sworn in at the next meeting, June 12.

Ho will replace Emmett O’Donnell, who resigned in March due to what he said was the significant time he now spends out of state, and will serve the remainder of O’Donnell’s term through November 2026. Ho would be eligible to run in that month’s election for a full four-year term on the five-member board.
