Tiburon council approves $1.21 million for repaving projects

Tiburon will spend up to $1.21 million for pavement improvements to a slew of streets, mostly in the Bel Aire neighborhood, in the upcoming fiscal year.

 

The Town Council voted unanimously during its June 5 meeting to approve two contracts for the work: a $998,832 contract plus a 10% contingency, with Martinez-based JV Lucas Paving Inc. for the actual paving work, which will include sealing cracks, overlaying hot-mix asphalt, slurry sealing and rebuilding concrete sidewalks, curbs and gutters, and $114,625 with Pavement Engineering Inc. for construction management.
