Tiburon Peninsula artists open studios for annual ICB showcase

Tiburon Peninsula artists will open their studios to the public Nov. 15-16 as part of the 57th annual ICB Art Open Studios in Sausalito, offering a glimpse into their creative processes.

 

Marine Strage and Sharon Paster of Belvedere and Julia Baker of Tiburon are among more than 100 artists participating in the two-day event at the historic Industrial Center Building. The free event runs 11 a.m.-5 p.m. both days, with a preview from 5-8 p.m. Nov. 14.

 

Other peninsula artists with studios at the center include Tiburon residents Anki Gelb, town artist laureate Christa Grenawalt, John Kunzweiler, Gordon Studer and Helen Werngren; Julie Harris, Tina Who and Deborah Wilton of Belvedere; and Strawberry’s Ben Benet, Erika Parrino and Ellen Rothman.

 

Visitors can wander three floors of studios at their own pace, watch artists at work, purchase pieces or commission custom work.
