Tiburon Wine Festival returns to downtown on Sept. 30

The Tiburon Wine Festival returns to Point Tiburon Plaza Sept. 30 to showcase libations from 65 wineries from across California.

The event, now in its 40th year, will also feature tastings from local restaurants and live music and is hosted by the Tiburon Peninsula Chamber of Commerce. The all-inclusive $95 ticket benefits the chamber, supporting its programs to promote local businesses.

Among the participating wineries are several from the heart of wine country, including Barra of Mendocino, Maroon Wines of Napa Valley and Ricci Vineyards and Serres Ranch in Sonoma.

Also participating is Field Vineyards, which has land in Sonoma and Mendocino counties and was established by Tiburon's Patrick Field and mother Nina Field in 1980.
